Life has changed since the Small People arrived. I was always content with my Kindle, enough Wifi for Spotify, and my AirPods. Boy, have things changed and there will be quite a few years before we enter the Teenage Era. My poor Paperwhite gets far less attention. I used to love them as a kid on family holidays — and now, they’ve made a major comeback in our suitcase.
But even if you’re not travelling with little ones, games are a great way to pass the time. They don’t take up much space and are perfect for delays, transfers, evenings in, or just killing time by the pool.
With the summer holidays fast approaching, I’ve pulled together my top travel-friendly game picks — just in time to snap them up in the Prime Day deals.

Tried, tested, and loved (you can read my review!). This clever game is up to 36% off in the Prime Day deals. It comes as a thin A4 folder that slips easily into your hold luggage — ideal for couples, adult groups, or holidays with teens. Just note: you may need an iPad (or similar) or a laptop to play.
An absolute family favourite. Fast paced and with a variety of ways to play. Available with many different themes that just adds to the fun.
– Traditional Double
– The waterproof version taking over social media, now with 24% off
– Disney
– Harry Potter
– Marvel version (might be my top pick!)
And so many more!

For those that love Scrabble, but need something more luggage friendly – this is a great option. A multi-award winning game for 2-6 players, with a sneaky dose of education tucked into a fun, fast-paced and mischievous experience.
A great option for a large family group travelling together as its suitable for 4-20 players. Easy to learn, laugh-out-loud funny, and compact enough to pack in your suitcase.
